Obituary of Jeanne Carlson

Jeanne Mary Isabell Carlson was born in the Dunleath District of SK on December 25th, 1928 to Alfred and Jeanie (nee McLeod) Pollock. Jeanne grew up on the family farm near Dunleath and attended the Dunleath School. She started work at an early age in the health care profession as a nurses' aid, receptionist and office manager at several different hospitals and medical clinics. The last twenty eight years of her working career were spent at the Melville Medical Centre where she retired from in 2002. She married T.W. "Bo" Carlson in 1951 and had three sons, Michael (Brenda) of Regina, SK, Warner (Flo) of Southend, SK, and Joey (Shawna) of Edmonton, AB. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially with her Grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, camping and fishing with her family. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 7th, 2015 at St. Peters Hospital in Melville at eighty-six years of age. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Warren, Ivan, Allan and Billy; sister: Mildred and great grandson, Storm. Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory, three sons: Michael (Brenda) of Regina, SK, Warner (Flo) of Southend, SK and Joey (Shawna) of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren: Hayley, Mary, Shaun, Thomas, Landon, Brady, Taylor and Lexi; great grandchildren: Seth, Shane, Saraya, Alyna, Kirsty, Myra, Shawna, Aria, Gabrielle, Jayke and Emmie. She is also survived by her sisters: Ivy Beaumont of Winnipeg, MB, Hazel Connaughton of Burnaby, BC.
