Joan Schlosser was born on March 14, 1957 at New Westminster, BC a daughter to Alex and Rosemary (nee Alexander) Viduk. She received her education at West Langley Elementary and Fort Langley Junior Secondary Schools. Joan was a Hairdresser for a while then ran a Childcare (daycare) out of her home for many years. Ten years ago she moved to Melville to be closer to her family and made many new friends around town. Joan enjoyed spending holidays together with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and shared many recipes with Amanda. Joan also loved creating floral crafts. Predeceased by her grandparents, Daisy and Charles; mother, Rosemary and her father, Alex. Joan leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Amanda Lee (Shane) Barr and their children Jaiden, Branden and Austin of Melville; sisters, Debbie Herbert of Bruno, SK. Marjory Morton (Craig) of Langley, BC.; brothers, Alex Viduk (Joan) of Humbolt, SK., Jordy Viduk of Quill Lake, SK.
