Obituary of Kenneth Rudniski

A memorial folder from the funeral service may be printed under the "Memories" tab, then choose "Memorial Program". Kenneth was the 7th of 10 children born to Joseph and Eileen (Porsnuk) Rudniski. He grew up in Weekes, SK, then spent his late teens in Central Butte. He later moved to Unity with his mother and younger siblings. He married Leanne Scherr on May 24, 1986 and was overjoyed when his son, Joseph Wayne, was born on July 20, 1987. He never loved anyone more than his son for whom he later gained full custody of after his divorce. Ken loved his mother, son and close family most of all. He loved animals - Kitter especially, the Roughriders - Go Riders!, fishing - ‘It was this big!' and hockey(Bobby Clarke #11) which he played as a boy in Weekes. He was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis at 22, which he fought all his life. He was taken October 2nd, asleep at home, when his body could no longer fight his debilitating disease any longer. His family and son will never forget his amazing spirit and no-nonsense attitude. Ken will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother and uncle. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Eileen, October 3, 2008; sister Shirley, January 27, 2001; brother Allis, July 1951; father Joseph, December 10, 1971 and several aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents. Remaining to keep his memory alive is his precious son Joseph - Fenwood, dear sisters Judy Hughes (Dennis) - Yorkton and Laverne Renneberg (Albert) - Kinloch; brother Kim Rudniski (Patti) - Kindersley; sisters Betty Ann Brooks (Harvey) - Weekes, Christine Rudniski - Unity, Laurie Tomkins - Unity, and Tracie Christensen (Pat) - Goodlands, MB; along with several nieces and nephews.
