Obituary of Miles David Demitor

Miles David Demitor was born in Toronto, Ontario on September 26, 1960 to Don and Ruby (nee Dohms) Demitor. At the age of five he moved to Saskatchewan with his parents and sister Lisa. Miles attended school in Saskatoon to grade 2 then Fenwood Public School, Melville Junior High and Melville Comprehensive. At the age of eighteen he joined the Ironworker's Union, Local 771 in Regina and became a certified Journeyman Ironworker. This led him to a life long career that took him across North America to various jobs. His last place of employment was at the Esterhazy Potash Mine K3. Miles also owned and operated a successful shoe repair shop and serviced Melville and area until he decided to return to the Ironworkers profession. He had a venturous soul that loved the outdoors. Miles was 2 years old when his father introduced him to fishing, and it continued throughout his life. In later years he enjoyed hunting, trapping, boating and cruising on his Harley Motorcycle. Miles entered his eternal rest at his home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the age of 53 years. Miles is survived by his parents Don and Ruby; sister Lisa (Tom), Travis and Sean; his partner and soul mate Lori, Darryl and Quin; his daughter Ashlee (Colin), Carter, Cash and Callie; daughter Jolene (Darcy), Addison; son Jeremy (Shannon), Carly and Blake; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Miles will be greatly missed and his memory will always stay precious in our hearts. Service Information Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 2:00pm, First United Church
