Obituary of Susan Lynne Lipinski

LIPINSKI - Susan Lipinski of Grayson, Saskatchewan wife of the late William Lipinski entered her eternal rest suddenly at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Susan was born on January 11, 1950 in Melville, Saskatchewan, a daughter to Edward and Harriet (nee Mackenzie) Milton. After Susan received her education in Melville she attended nursing school in Winnipeg. This was not Susan's calling so she moved back to Melville. In 1970, Susan met Willie Lipinski through some friends and he asked her to a dance. They later married on July 10, 1971 in Melville and moved to Willie's homestead south of Grayson where Susan took an active part in the family farm. The couple were later blessed with four children during their marriage - David, Nicole, Grant, and Kimberley. Susan enjoyed a variety of hobbies including cooking, baking, gardening, doing word search puzzles, reading, having bonfires, and taking drives to the coulee. Another one of Susan's lifelong interests were her horses. Growing up, Susan and her sister Judy raised and trained horses just outside of Melville. She continued to share this passion later on with her husband and children through her involvement in 4-H Light Horse and the family farm. As a member of the community of Grayson, Susan volunteered her time and baking to various community events and functions. Susan's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cherished the time she spent with her family. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Harriet, her husband Willie; sisters Donna, Judy and Glenda; brother Ted; niece Kathy; her in-laws Frank and Mary; sisters-in-law Margaret and Bernadette; and her loyal dog, Whiz. Susan leaves to cherish her memory her children, son David of Yorkton - children Landon, Aidan, and Jada; daughter Nicole (Dickie) - child Mason of Weyburn; son Grant (Debbie) - children Logan and Lincoln, of Grayson, daughter Kim (Tyson) of Melville; sister Helen (John) of Melville; brothers Bryan of Melville and Bill (Sadie) of London, ON; brothers-in-law Donny and Claude; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
