Obituary of Donald Solomon

Donald Joseph Solomon was the third child born on December 20, 1953 at Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, to Katie and Joseph Solomon. The family moved to Oakburn, Manitoba for a while then moved to the Parkerview district. Donald received his education at Hubbard and Jedburgh Schools and helped on the family farm. In 1972 Donald started working for local farmers later he moved into Theodore. While in Theodore he worked as a handyman as well volunteered for the Health Centre. Donald enjoyed going for drives in the country, watching TV and visiting with friends on coffee row. Donald entered his eternal rest on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre at the age of 60 years. Predeceased by his grandparents; his father Joseph and brother-in-law John Parsons, cousins Terry Solomon and Darlene Dubiel. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Clifford Farkus and Clifford's mother Veronica Farkus of Theodore; mother Katie Solomon of Melville; sisters Gerri (Richard) Dinelle of Stittsville, ON and Julianne Parsons of Winnipeg, MB; brothers Doug (Rosalee) Solomon of Wolseley, SK and Marvin of Vancouver, BC; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
