Obituary of Annie Wiebe

Mrs. Annie Wiebe of Yorkton, widow of Jake Wiebe passed away on February 25th, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Annie was born at Gruenfeld, Saskatchewan on August 26, 1940, daughter of Heinrich and Gertrude (nee Wall) Wiebe. Annie's life revolved around her undying love for family and her unwavering commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. A true highlight of all our lives were the visits to mom's to just share time with her. The great grandchildren will especially miss the visits to "Nana's" for cookies. Annie is predeceased by her son Jim and husband Jake. She is survived by her three daughters: Debi (Alan), Laura (Chad) and Jennifer (Randy); grandchildren: Adam, Brooklyn, Kieran, Lincoln and Lance; great grandchildren: Jagger, Kase and Checker. Annie will be lovingly remembered by her dear sister Mary and many close relatives and friends. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home with Major Ron Mailman of the Salvation Army Corps officiating. A Tribute and Scripture reading was given by Officer Linda Mailman. The hymns, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Sweet By & By" were sung. A Reflection was shared by Adam Paton. The interment took place in the family plot at Yorkton City Cemetery with Adam Paton serving as the urn bearer. Memorials honouring Annie's life may be made to the Samaritan's Purse as gifts of remembrance.
