Obituary of Anne Eftoda

A memorial folder from the funeral service may be printed under the "Memories" tab, then choose "Memorial Program. Anne was the youngest child of John and Mary (Gramak) Gnyp. She was raised on the family homestead near Stornoway, Saskatchewan along with her four brothers and one sister. Anne married Peter Eftoda on October 10, 1948. The young couple had two daughters; Sharon (1951) and Carla (1955). They briefly lived on the Eftoda farm and then started their many business adventures. Anne supported Peter and took special pride in all their business endeavours until his sudden death in 1982. Into her later years, Anne continued to enjoy her family and their families with five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Anne's friendships were many and provided meaningful relationships through her 31 years as a widow. Anne lived independently in her own home until she was diagnosed with cancer and went into palliative care. Anne was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her siblings. Her life is celebrated by her daughters, Sharon (Kenn) Kozak of Yorkton and Carla Eftoda of Regina; her granddaughter Roslyn Kozak (Derek Leverington) and great granddaughters Jaye and Maya of Regina; granddaughter Sarah (Chris) Metcalfe and great grandchildren Ty and Mia of Regina; grandson Harlan Theaker (Chai Chung) and great grandchildren Alex and Amberly of Regina; grandsons Tayler Theaker and Cordell Theaker of Vancouver.
