Dear Susan, Grace, Larry, David, your families and Grandma Doris: We feel very sad for your loss. We grew up hearing stories about what a kind man and caring husband Uncle John was. Really enjoyed reading his obituary (only a Canadian could endure Kiska, it's cold!). Our thoughts are with you as you celebrate the life of your beloved father, grandfather and our Grandma's dear brother. Love from across the ocean - Natasha, David and baby Penelope Kennewell

Dear Larry & Janice, Dave & Michelle, Susan & George, Grace & Ed and Brenden, My sincerest condolences to all of you on the loss of your Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather. He was a wonderful Uncle who set a fine example in being a kind, patient and loving Husband and Father! Susan & Grace, I will fondly remember the fun time we had together with your Dad at the end of August in Calgary when we spent the afternoon with him at "Heritage Park" followed by an enjoyable dinner that evening. Cherish the fond memories you all have of both him and your Mom until you see them once again! Love Pernell

Dear Sue and George I was sorry to hear of the loss of your dearly loved father and father-in-law. Even though I never met him I grew to admire and respect the kind of man he was. Raising you kids after your mother took I'll when you were all just young children. And continuing to loving care for your mother for many years afterwards right up to her going ' to sleep'. I enjoyed hearing about him over the years when you would take turns spending time with him in his own home. His many years of loving and caring for his children was now being rewarded with you being there for him. What a further blessing when he was moved to such a wonderful facility there in Calgary, allowing you and Grace and your families to spend so much quality time together. You will have all those wonderful memories of weekly Sunday suppers at Ed & Grace's home. I loved hearing about all the little outings you enjoyed, taking him here and there and how independent he tried to be right up till he closed his eyes and went peacefully to sleep. I look forward to meeting him one day when he will enjoy perfect health on a cleansed and paradise earth. Psalm 37:29 Revelation 21:4 Please know my thoughts an prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time. Charlotte
