Dear Auntie Helen, Ken and family, Lyle and family: We are very sorry to hear of Uncles passing. Sorry for being so late on our condolences. I think back of all the wonderful times we had when we would all meet at Grandpa's and Grandma's in Theodore for all of the occassions. Sometimes I wish we could turn back time to those good old family days when we all would get together. They are memories that I will never forget and will for always hold in my heart very dearly. Uncle sure knew his sports thats for sure. He was very smart and talented with his teaching and passed that on to many students.I remember him teaching me how to putt in golf in the basement in Watson one year when we came to visit one time.Next we started to bet money to see who could win. I was young at the time and he was so good at teaching me,I managed to win. I will always have Uncle in heart forever. Please accept our late condolences in your great loss Auntie, Ken, Lyle and families. We will pray for all of you. All our Love, Glen, Vonnie, and Kiahna

Dear Helen and Family: You don't know me but I knew Nestor very well while we were both at Normal School in 1951-1952. Of all the friends I made that year I cherished his friendship the most and considered him to be my BEST friend. In spite of this we drew apart over the years, likely because of distance and lack of transport during those early years. I did phone him at Watson after he had his stroke and we spoke but that visit never grew into a personal contact. I SHOULD have made it so!! Let me express to you my most sincere condolences on the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather and my friend. I am filled with sorrow that I didn't get a chance to meet you all and visit Nestor while I could have done so. I hope that the condolences here and in the cards you receive will help you through this most difficult time and that the Power stronger than any on earth will help bring to you the earthly peace you so richly need and seek.

Our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. Auntie Helen you will miss Uncle Nestor so much as your life these past years was all about loving him and caring for him. My memories of Uncle Nestor are special. He was the best teacher I ever had. He taught at Green Meadow at the time and they lived at the teacherage down the road from us. From that time on your family was like part of our family. Everything Uncle Nestor did was done to a perfection including his role in my wedding. His strength and courage were also obvious after his stroke. He was so appreciative of visits with him and always had a smile. There was never a prouder Grandpa! Love to all of you. Olga and family

As a new immigrant to Canada, I remember with fondness and abiding gratitude the welcome, the hospitality and friendship that Nestor and Helen Marianchuk extended to me after I arrived in Watson in 1967. Earlier this year I had the privilege of visiting them in their home. I was received with the same warmth and joy of former times. On my recent visits with them I was impressed by their deep love and devotion for each other.Furthermore, I observed Helen's total commitment to caring for Nestor. News of Nestor's death is an occasion of sadness and many rich memories for me. To Helen, and sons Ken and Lyle and their families, I extend condolences on behalf of my wife, Colleen, and myself.
