Obituary of Anne Ottenbreit
OTTENBREIT - With fond memories and a deep sadness, we announce the passing of Anne Ottenbreit of Grenfell Pioneer Nursing Home and formerly of Grayson. Anne entered her eternal rest on December 24th, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Bill, her parents, John and Mary Magerl of Killaly, and her siblings Elsie, George, Jerald, and Olga. She is survived by her sister Bernice (Wendel) Streifel, brother Elmer, and numerous other relatives. She leaves seven children and their spouses: Wayne (Eileen), Lorraine (Carl) Radbruch, Randy (Marjorie), Valerie (Colin) Traub, Joseph (Marlene), Marvin (Bernie), and Ken (Rosie). She also leaves 25 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren. Mom loved family dearly. Never at a loss for words, she was an ardent believer in education. She spent a lot of time knitting, leaving a bounteous supply of memories. She was involved in 4H, and St Mary's parish groups such as the CWL and the Rosary solidarity. In her spare time she enjoyed playing BINGO, and solving puzzles - of all varieties. The Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Grayson with Rev. Fr. Thomas Mutavanattu as the Celebrant. We thank the staff at the Grenfell Pioneer Nursing Home for the loving care given Mom. Arrangements were by Bailey's Funeral Home, Melville.
