NIEBERGALL - Marjorie Eileen Niebergall, (nee Osler) beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother passed away peacefully on December 13, 2012, age 92 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Marge was born in Regina on September 24, 1920, the eldest daughter of nine children. She met her husband Adam, and they were married in 1940. Together they farmed for over 50 years in the Neudorf area, raising three sons and a daughter. Marge and Adam retired to Yorkton in 1976, where they enjoyed being close to their children and grandchildren, as well as being active members of their church. Marge had a love of learning and worked hard updating her education as she was reaching middle age. During her life Marge worked as a speech therapy aid, as a nursing aid in several hospitals, as well as working as an at home caregiver for stroke recovery patients. Marge was an avid gardener and spent many happy hours tending her flowers and vegetables. She loved to cook and bake for family and friends; her cinnamon buns and muffins were always a big hit. Marge will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, her positive attitude, strength, and devotion to her God and family. When Alzheimer's slowly took away her dearest memories and quality of life, her children and grandchildren surrounded her with love and support. Marge was predeceased by her husband Adam in 1999; and by a foster daughter Lynn Mueller (Rinehardt). She is survived by her sons: Dave (Mary) of Yorkton; Lorne (Judy) of Yorkton; Ken (Maureen) of Calgary; a daughter Sandra (Norm) Schultheis of Calgary; grandchildren: Darren, Scott (Christie), Jody, Jeff (Tyra), Colin (Cathy), Sandy, Corrie (Warren), Karen (Ashley), Chelsea (Scott), Courtney, David (Christine) and Catherine (Daniel) as well as numerous great grandchildren. Also a sister Sylvia Brown, and a brother Don Osler, and their families. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Pastor Steve Rosluk of First Baptist Church officiating. Reflections & remembrances were given by daughter-in-law Mary Haley & grandson Jeff Niebergall.
