Obituary of Clifford Mann

Clifford Harold Mann It is with our deepest sorrow that the family of Clifford Mann announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the age of 52. Cliff was born to Harold and Violet Mann on October 8, 1960 in Melville, Saskatchewan. As a young boy, Cliff attended Central School and Melville Junior High School, graduating from Melville Comprehensive School in 1978. On June 28, 1986, Cliff married Judy Walters and their marriage was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Jessie and Sarah. Cliff loved to hunt, he loved to ski-doo and he loved everything outdoors, but most of all, he loved his "girls." Winters were spent ski-dooing with his family, learning how to drive the quad or travelling with his girls every time he had the opportunity. Summers were spent on the lake, driving the boat, so the girls could ski and tube. Quiet evenings were spent with Judy, on the deck of their home overlooking the Qu'Appelle Valley that he loved so much. Family was very important to Cliff and he liked nothing better than spending time with his extended family as well. We could always count on Cliff to add some life to any get-together with his silly antics and goofy comments that would make us laugh. He took as much delight in teasing his nieces and nephews as he did in having more serious conversations with them. Cliff was a friendly and easy-going guy which added to the success of his business at Crooked Lake. Regardless of the day or time, Cliff always made himself available to help out his clients whenever an emergency arose. He was a "Jack of all Trades" within his own home, and willingly shared his skills with family and friends when called upon. Cliff is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy, and their daughters, Jessie (Cody Baillie) and Sarah; his parents, Harry and Violet; his sisters and brothers Carol (Royce), Randy, Debbie, Gail (Richard) and Gary (Anna). He is also survived by his extended family, in-laws, Hazel and Red Grotsky; sisters- and brothers-in law, Susan and John Maserek, Cherylynn Walters and Colleen Stinson, Shannon and Gary Sambrook, Barton Walters and Stephen Smith as well as several nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him dearly. Cliff was predeceased by his grandparents Lawrence and Mary Hershmiller and Christopher and Elizabeth Mann and his brothers-in- law Dale Strandberg and Doug Propp, Clifford was our husband, our father, our son, our son-in-law, our brother, our brother-in-law, our uncle and our friend.
