Obituary of William Palmark

Palmark - William 'Paul' Palmark, resident of Burlington, Ontario passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. He was 92 years of age. William was born on January 10, 1920 to Peter and Anne Palamaryk of Rhein, Saskatchewan. He received his education in Rhein. He was drafted in the army and volunteered to go overseas and remained there until the end of the war. He and Juliana Koch (whom he met in England during his time there) were married in 1946 and settled down in Toronto, Ontario. While in Toronto William became involved in the jewellery repair business until his retirement in 1983. Juliana passed away in 1984. He was also predeceased by his father Peter in 1986 and his mother Anne in 1990. Bill later met and married Anne Bell in 1986. They enjoyed spending time with family and travelling. William is survived by his wife, Anne Bell; step-daughter Wendy (John Thomson); step-son Gary Bell (Cathy); and their children Lauren, Brittany, Michael and Andrew. His brothers Fred (Cora) Palamaryk, George (Marlene) Paulmark, and Horace (Marlene) Paulmark, nieces Cheryl, Jillian, Cordelia, Christy, and nephews David and Jason, and several great nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 26, 2012 in Burlington, Ontario. The interment took place on Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Garden of St. Matthew at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens. Pastor Gerald Wagner of the Family Worship Centre officiated. Local arrangements were in care of Bailey's Funeral Home.
