Obituary of Tillie Hauabrich

HAUBRICH (nee URSCHEL) - Tillie Haubrich beloved wife of the late Jacob Haubrich of Lemberg passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. Mathilda Barbara Haubrich was born on December 2, 1916 in St. Boswell, Sask. to Philip and Caroline Urschel. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob (Jack) Haubrich on June 21, 1997; Her parents Philip and Coroline Urschel; Siblings: Edith Schlamp; Elizabeth (Beth) Urschel; Henry; Jacob (Jack); Ernie and John. Surviving Tillie are her sisters Elsie Beck of Saskatoon and Hilda Wiggins of Edmonton and her three brothers: Bill (Josephine); Lorne (Corinne) and Fred (Elinor) and sister- in-law Theresa of Regina plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Following their marriage in November 1966, Tillie and Jack made their home in Lemberg, Sask where they enjoyed many happy years together. Tillie retired in 1981 after 39 years of service with Sears. She enjoyed her retirement immensely and in particular her garden. Many thanks to her good neighbors, Herb and Vi MacDonald and their daughter Laura Jean. Their help and companionship over the years was greatly appreciated by Tillie as well as her siblings. Thanks also to the staff at Indian Head Union Hospital for their excellent care of Tillie during her stay and the compassion extended to family members. Funeral Services were held on Friday, October 19, 2012 from St. Michael's Parish Cemetery in Lemberg with Rev. Brian Mee of the United Church of Canada officiating.
