Obituary of Mary Maccala

The family of Mary Maccala of Yorkton and formerly of the Calder district, beloved wife of the late Joseph Maccala, sadly announce her passing on March 31, 2022. She was 101 years of age. A private funeral service will take place. Mary Maccala Born 1920 in the Calder district, daughter of Nick & Rose Rurak. She was raised on the family farm until united in marriage to Joseph Maccala in 1941. Mary enjoyed helping her husband farm. She also loved gardening, growing flowers, sewing, knitting and music. They farmed for a number of years until they moved to Yorkton in the fall of 1989. Mary faithfully served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, baptized in 1939. Always ready to express her Love for Jehovah God. “With a hope of resurrection” John 5: 28,29 “To Life in Paradise on Earth” Psalm 37: 29 - Written by Mary Mary is lovingly remembered by her children Sharon Helmkay, Dale (Mandy), Bonnie (Sonny Cameron), her grandchildren Shannan, Shanneen (Jeff Goszulak), Trent, Tara (Cory Leis), and great grandchildren Dylan, Carter, Elyse, Jada, and Mya.
