Our sincere sympathy goes to Randy and the entire Goulden family on Rex's passing. I remember playing fastball with Rex. He was the best shortstop that I ever saw. We attended numerous Sports Days where there may have been the odd beer consumed between games along with some socializing. I will miss seeing him at the Rider games where we would analyze the team and share a few laughs. Rest well my friend. You lived well and left many of us with a smile on our faces as we think of you.

I will always remember riding in the orange van with the door opened waiting to be dropped off to pass out the Sears catalogs and then going to McDonald's with the money we made. Rex was my hockey dad and a second dad to me while I grew up. Tom and I going on runs in the Sears truck or runs to hockey tournaments that we always lost. Haha. You will be missed. :(
