Obituary of Helen Kosloski

KOSLOSKI - Mrs. Helen Kosloski, beloved wife of John Kosloski entered eternal rest on June 23, 2012 at Silver Heights Special Care Home in Raymore. She was 4 days short of her 81st birthday. Helen Sophie (Komodowski) Kosloski was born in Southey, SK. on June 27, 1931 and passed away peacefully on June 23, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, Martin & Elizabeth Komodowski, brothers Edward & Fernie Komodowski, sisters Stepha Kolody & Adeline Hido, and grandsons Michael & David Leonard. Helen loved to be outside and prior to being wheel-chair confined she loved to go fishing with family. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and baking while she was able to. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 62 years, John; children Dolores (Gerald) Leonard of Rimby, Alberta; Gladys (Glen) McGregor of Wynyard, SK; Georgina (Alex) Lendvoy of Dauphin, MB; Marlis (Gordon) Kotylak of Kelliher; Alan (Melanie) Kosloski of Regina, SK; Grandchildren & great grandchildren: Renee/Mike (Ryley), Derek (Krista); Tegan/Mike (Donovan); Denton/Karla; Jeff/Bobbi-Jo (Tori-Lynn, Tyree, Helena & Ethan), Jon/Kelly, Tim/Erin (Jade & Ali), Chris/Cheryl (Chloe), Jason, Kyla/Chad (Summer & Haiylee), Jeremy, Matt, Alannah; brother Leonard Komodowski, sister Noreen (Steve) Feszczyn and sister-in-law Dianne Komodowski, as well as many other relatives & friends. She will be greatly missed. Prayers were held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 and the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church in Kelliher with Rev. Father Francis Hengen as theCelebrant. Melanie Kosloski shared remembrances in a eulogy at the Prayers. The organist, Paulette van der Helm led parish choir members in singing the hymns, "Alleluia, Give Thanks to the Risen Lord", "And I Will Follow", "What So Ever You Do" and "How Great Thou Art". The cross bearer was Chris Lendvoy and the readers were Tegan Matichuk, Denton McGregor and Karla McGregor. Serving as the Gift Bearers were Alannah Kosloski & Tori - Lynn Lendvoy. The interment followed in Kelliher Memorial Gardens with Jon Lendvoy, Jason Kotylak, Derek Leonard, Jeremy Kotylak, Denton McGregor and Matt Kosloski serving as the casket bearers.
