Obituary of June Rynbend
RYNBEND - June Rynbend of St. Paul Lutheran Home wife of Raymond Rynbend passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the age of 92 years. June was born on June 16, 1919 in Melville, Saskatchewan, a daughter to Phillip and Ruby (nee Huddlesworth) Bellamy. June grew up in Melville and received her education at Eastend School. She was united in marriage to Henry Dempster and they were blessed with a son Murray. In 1957 June married Raymond Rynbend and continued to reside in Melville. While Ray worked on the CNR as a locomotive engineer, June focused on building their family life, caring for her mother who was experiencing multiple bouts with cancer, and creating an enjoyable "resort like" experience in their home and landscape. She loved swimming whether in Katepua Lake, or the Natatorium in Moose Jaw, or in the pool in her own back yard. June was an energetic animal lover who nourished distressed and wounded animals back to health and returned them to their environment, except for her raccoons and many cats which she kept as pets. She loved to travel and see the world in Caribbean cruses and Hawaiian holidays. From 1985 through 2007 she and Ray were "snowbirds" and spent winters in their mobile home in Desert Hot Springs in California visiting family and making new friends. June was a member of the Melville Pentecostal Church. June became a resident at St. Paul Lutheran Home on May 18, 2011. June is predeceased by her parents, brother Phillip Vincent Bellamy and sister Lucia Holliday. June leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Raymond of St. Paul Lutheran Home; son Murray (Coralie); grandson Marlon (Shannon) and their daughters Ireland and Rylie; nieces Carole Leggott and Sharon Marks; nephews Dean Holliday, Cal Bellamy, and Don MacIntyre and many great nieces and nephews.
