Obituary of Terrance Dmyterko

DMYTERKO - Terry Dmyterko beloved husband of Frances Dmyterko of the Dunleath district passed away suddenly on February 20, 2012 at his home in Dunleath, Saskatchewan. Terry was 56 years of age. Terrance (Terry) Dmyterko was born on March 8, 1955 in Ituna, Saskatchewan a son of Dmetro and Katherine (nee Petrowsky) Dmyterko. Terry attended school in Hubbard, St. Mary's Elementary and the Regional High School in Yorkton. At an early age Terry's first job was at Western Earth Movers. He also worked at Martin Motors, Farmstead Builders before starting his career at Deneschuk Homes. In 1996 Terry and Fran moved to Alberta where he continued to work for Deneschuk Homes for 11 years before they moved back to Yorkton. His almost 30 year dedication to Deneschuk Homes was a true attest to his loyalty. Terry was a simple man and had many hobbies throughout the years. If he wasn't working he could be found outside camping with the boys when they were younger, sledding, riding his quad, and most recently enjoyed maintaining the acreage using his tractor. Being the generous man he was always there to lend a hand and share his expertise whether it was wanted or not. At the end of the day Terry always put his family first. As the boys were growing up he worked on the road but always made time for his family. Macey and Aiden have been in Terry's life for the past six years and he has always treated them as if they were his own. After the birth of his grandson Eric you could always be sure that grandpa had Smarties nearby and was his pride & joy. We will do our best to ensure Eric will know grandpa loved him. Grandpa spent his last days with Eric and we are grateful we have such a wonderful lasting impression. Terry was predeceased by his parents Metro in 1997, Katie in 1979, a sister Mary in 1960 and brother‘s-in-law Emil Lutz in 2006 and Charlie Kobialko in 1993. Terry is lovingly remembered by his wife Frances (Kobialko) of 33 years, his son Jason (Cindy, Macey and Aiden) of Ebenezer, Sk., son Dale (Tara and Eric) of Saskatoon, Sk. He leaves to mourn his passing nine brothers and sisters: Nettie Lutz of Ituna, Sk., Matt (Adelle) of Kamloops, B.C., Victor (Muriel) of Yorkton, Sk., Orest of Yorkton, Sk., Walter (Irene) of Kamloops, B.C., Doreen Buchinski (Marty) of Kamloops, B.C., John (Zenia) of Regina, Sk., Delores Kobialko (Morris Wozniak) of Ituna and Yorkton Sk., Gladys Wenc (Konstance) of Ituna, Sk., as well as several great nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Although Terry was taken from us way to soon, he has touched all of us in his own special way. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers and will forever remain in our hearts.
