Obituary of Don Bauman

BAUMAN - Don Bauman was born on October 26, 1935. He died peacefully February 16, 2012 with his family at his side. He was 76 years old. Don was the eldest child of George and Ida Bauman. He grew up and attended Rock Glen country school in St. Benedict. He worked in Saskatoon for a few years where he met Evangeline Craven. They married in May 1957 and farmed in St. Benedict until 1975. They then started in the Hotel business and over the next 25 years they owned businesses in Dubuc, Fillmore, Tisdale, Arborfield, Grayson, and Biggar. They retired to Nipawin in 2000. Over the years dad enjoyed snowmobiling and quadding with his friends and kids. He also loved camping, fishing, and spent countless hours on various lakes and campgrounds in Saskatchewan. Dad will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by special friend Connie and his four children: Cindy (David) Parker and their children, Lori (Pat), Jaimie (Jeff), Erin (Kurtis), Nicole (Aaron), Debbie (Norman) Johnson and their children, Jennah and Jacklyn (Jordan) Darrell (Lanie) Bauman and their children, Ashley and Derek, Arlene (Glen) Franklin and their children, Blake (Brad) and Brittany (Robin) Eight great grandchildren: Braiden, Hailey, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Kayson, Taiven, Logan, Charlee Sisters: Goldene, Melody (Randy), brothers: Jerry, Bill (Sonya), sisters in law: Peggy and Carol. Dad was predeceased by his wife Angie in 2008, parents George and Ida, brother, Duane, infant twin sisters, brothers in law: Ken, Walter and Delmer, Sister in law: Irma.
