Obituary of Harold Kleebaum

Harold Gottfried Kleebaum was born on May 14, 1924 at Neudorf, Saskatchewan a son to Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum. Harold received his education at the Neudorf School. After his schooling he worked at a local farm. In the late 50's he was united in marriage to Frieda Verner. In the 60's he married Wilma Lay. Wilma passed away and Harold moved to various places. While in Alberta he worked at Pincher Creek then took up farming in the Busby area then worked at a logging camp at Yellowknife. He returned to Saskatchewan and worked for Wappel Construction in Regina until retiring in 1990 and moved to Melville. On July 5, 2007 he became a resident at Ituna Pioneer Lodge then on September 10, 2007 he moved into St. Paul Lutheran Home in Melville where he resided until his passing on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Harold enjoyed watching TV, curling and travelling. Predeceased by his parents; wife Wilma; son Gary; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lydia (Frank) Bruder, Alma (David) Applin, Betty (Ed) Bourke, Bill Hepperle and Bill Gerhardt and one brother Herb; sisters-in-law, Darlene Kleebaum and Carol Ann Kleebaum. Harold leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Blinda (Ed) Ernest of Edmonton, AB; brothers, Wilfred, Walter, Alvin, Gilbert all of Melville and David (Marlene) of Winnipeg; sisters, Hanna Hepperle of Edmonton and Alice Gerhardt of Melville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by Bailey's Funeral Home, Melville. Interment Details Melville Municipal Cemetery
