Obituary of Rose Jank

JANK - Rose Jank age 93 years, widow of John Jank, formerly of Yorkton and the Wroxton district, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rose was born on January 14, 1918, on a farm near Wroxton, Saskatchewan to Dan and Patricia Hyshka. She married John Jank in 1938 and began farming near where she grew up. Rose was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brothers, Nicholas, Harry, Bill (Ann) Hyshka. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Richard Karp), grandsons, Jeffrey Rehaluk (Laura) and Mark Rehaluk, also her great grand daughter, Audrey. She is also survived by a sister in law - Pauline (Harry) Hyshka, and many cousins. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct 1st, 2011 at 10:00 am from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with interment and reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
