Obituary of Michael Zennon Bereziuk

The family of Michael Bereziuk are saddened to announce his unexpected passing on March 1, 2022. Mike was born on June 22, 1947 and each year he was always happy to announce that date to his friends as it approached, in order to ensure a celebration. Michael was predeceased by his parents John and Mary, many uncles and aunts and is survived by his Aunt Edith Burianyk, his brother Bill (Bernie) and their children Renata, Chantel (Garth), son Rylan (Kelsey), Brett and niece Alaina (Shane) and their children McKenna and Kaden. He is also survived by many cousins and their families. Michael graduated from Ituna High School in 1965, worked with the Dept. of Highways and took time off to obtain his B.A. with the U of S in 1969. In 1974 he completed a Tech II course in surveying and drafting. He was employed with the Dept. of Highways as a surveyor and in Lab. In 1979 he decided to farm and help the family business which was purchased in 1964 in the town of Ituna and became known as North End Service ltd. In his earlier years Mike also enjoyed travelling with his cousin, Bill Burianyk, to almost all places south of the Equator. Some places such as Mexico, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Lima, Peru, Bangkok, Thailand and he especially loved Hawaii. But his heart was most comfortable and he was happiest on his farmland. He loved the peaceful hum of his Massey, as he worked the land in the spring or the hum of his combine at harvest. He enjoyed the company of his friends and companions as they toured the sights around the farming community and we know he will be missed. Rest in peace Michael in God’s loving arms. Service Details.
