Obituary of Marjorie Tymiak

Marjorie was born on August 19,1943 in the Garnock District to Bill & Eva (Schultz) Bircham. She attended Garnock & Kelliher Schools. In January of 1962, Marge, as she was known to family and friends, went to Regina to take a Hairdressing Course. In October of 1962, Marge began working in Lestock Hospital as a Nurses Aide until November 1964 when she married Mike Ruzyski. They moved to Yorkton. Marge was widowed in June 1967. She managed the Parkview Apartments and then went to be a waitress at Mr. Mikes Steak House until she married Robert Tymiak on February 7, 1970 and moved to Jasmin, SK. They grain farmed, raised cattle and Quarter horses. They both enjoyed horseback riding, going to dances and taking many trips travelling by car and bus, Marge enjoyed many different hobbies, especially gardening and was an excellent cook. Marge suffered a stroke in September 2007 and subsequent heart attacks. With failing health, both Robert & Marge moved into St. Paul Lutheran Home on April 7, 2010, where they were lovingly taken care of. Marge passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 66 years. Marge was predeceased by her father, Bill in 1962, her mother, Eva in 2004, her first husband, Mike, in 1967, brother-in-law, Walter Tymiak in 1988 and nephew, Billy Bircham in 2002. Marjorie leaves her husband, Robert, one brother Ervin (Annette), of Kelliher and one sister, Edith (Glen) as well as nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.
