Obituary of Pauline Lungul

Mrs. Pauline Lungul (nee Busniuk) of Yorkton, beloved wife of Peter Lungul passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2011 with her family by her side. She was 80 years of age. Pauline was born November 8, 1930 in Fort William, ON to Annie & Emen Busniuk. Pauline attended Ogden Street School. Pauline met Peter Lungul while he was working with the CNR in Kashabowie, Ontario. They were united in marriage in Fort William, Ontario on December 6, 1952. Pauline enjoyed cooking & trying out new recipes for her family. She could often be found watching the cooking channel on TV while reading a cookbook. Pauline also enjoyed gardening, watching murder mysteries television shows, and mostly spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pauline is survived by her husband Peter Lungul, daughters Barb Dawe (Sidney), Patti Anderson (Bob), Bev Eckhart (Bryan), grandchildren Darren Dawe (Vanessa), Robert Dawe (Sherisse), Kelly Anderson (Tyler), Brent Eckhart, Bonnie Eckhart, Cindy Anderson (Graham), great grandchildren Wade , Nolan , Kieran , & Ember , brothers Paul Busniuk , Joe Busniuk (Olga), sisters Pearl Mastrodomenico, Julie Leonzio (Guido), and Audrey Bievenue (Murray). She was predeceased by her mother Annie, father Emen, brothers Steve & Peter, sisters Ellen McLean, Sandra Inman, Eva Pidluzny, Irene Chicoine, and Olga Fehr. The family celebrated Pauline's life in a private family service on June 24th at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens.
