Obituary of Robert Bilokrely
BILOKRELY - Robert Bilokrely, beloved son of Barry & Ivy Bilokrely of Sheho died tragically on May 24, 2011 near Minnedosa, Manitoba at the age of 23 years. Robert Owen Bilokrely was born February 3, 1988 at Yorkton Union Hospital to parents Barry and Ivy Bilokrely of Sheho. He received his education at Sheho School, Foam Lake Composite School and Yorkton Regional High School where he graduated in 2006. Following his high school education, Robert commenced to work at various jobs in Yorkton. A few years later he decided to further his education at the University of Saskatchewan. There he studied Arts and Sciences in hopes of eventually becoming a teacher in either English or Drama. During his summer break from school, he enjoyed working as a bouncer at Whiskey Jacks. Throughout Robert's childhood, he developed a knack for acting and developed a passion for theatre. He appeared in several drama productions in Sheho School, Foam Lake and eventually his favourite production in Yorkton, of which he had three characters to portray. He loved to act alongside his very good friend, Jonas. While residing in Yorkton, Robert also took up the hobby of Muay Thai Kickboxing at the Ruah Club. There, he became enthralled with the sport. At the same time, Robert even decided to dabble in a bit of pro wrestling, which was the perfect combination for his desire of both acting and mixed martial arts. He attended several tournaments and made many new friends through this experience. Robert was also an avid gamer. He had every game console that he could get his hands on, and would often even swap systems and games with friends so he could become as proficient as possible. He would often organize and host gaming nights for all of his friends so they could "battle" and hang out. He loved to surround himself with good people, and some of his dearest friends (whom lovingly called him 'Red') were those that attended these get-togethers. In recent years, Robert had even begun to take on the challenge of learning guitar, as well as cooking different types of cuisine. He was also artistically inclined and enjoyed creating sketches in "Anime" style and looked forward to the Anime North Convention every year. Robert was a caring, independent and charismatic individual. He would rarely ask for help on any occasion with any task; however, he was willing to give the shirt off his back for anyone. As one of his friends put it, he was an amazing person and friend, always willing to listen and offer advice and always there giving the biggest of hugs. Robert was a devoted and loving son who made his parents very proud. He loved his brother Jason and sister Carrie with everything that he had, and will be greatly missed by the many people that were blessed to know him. He was predeceased by his Gido Fred Bilokrely (2000); Baba Eva Bilokrely (2007); Gido William Adam (2000); Uncle John Denesik (1994); Auntie Cecila Denesik (2009); and Auntie Jane Adam (2009). Robert leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his parents Barry and Ivy Bilokrely of Sheho; brother Jason Bilokrely and girlfriend Tasha Newsted of Sheho; sister Carrie and husband Mark Turnbull and their daughter Arihanna of Wadena; Baba Pauline Adam of Gorlitz; Uncle Blaine Adam of Gorlitz; Auntie Angie and Uncle Allan Hemauer of Langenburg; Uncle Mervin Adam of Rhein; Uncle Harold and Auntie Ruth of Winnipeg; cousins Rodney (Rhea) Denesik of Yorkton, Bev Denesik of Saskatoon, Pam (Michael) Hawreluik of Sheho, Debbie (Randy) Slowski of Sheho, Merv (Julie) Adam of Yorkton, Lorelee Adam of Yorkton, Elden (Melissa) Hemauer of Langenburg, Jake Adam of Gorlitz as well as numerous second cousins.
