Obituary of Sherry Lynn Koshman

Koshman - Dr. Sherry Lynn, age 46, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2011 surrounded by family. Sherry is survived by her parents, Martin & Elaine Koshman; husband Dennis Moul; daughters Natalie and Valerie Moul; uncle Bob (Tanya) Rauliuk; aunt Florence (Bill) Pachkowski; cousins Paul (Pam) and Mark Pachkowski and Kirk and Robbie Rauliuk; in-laws Bill and Donna Moul, Laura (Trevor) Norris, Dan (Jennifer) Moul; and nephews Ben and Jon Moul. Sherry grew up in Theodore, she received her Bachelors degree at the University of Saskatchewan, her Masters degree at McGill University in Montreal, and then to Pittsburgh for her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh she met her husband, Dennis Moul (married 17 years). After completing her PhD, Sherry worked in the industry for several years before the arrival of her dear children, Natalie and Valerie. Sherry returned to the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 as a professor at the School of Information Sciences. Sherry was predeceased by her grandparents, Alex and Wilma Rauliuk, and Nick and Katherine Koshman, and her uncle Walter Koshman. Funeral services were held in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 5, 2011. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre, officiated by Crystal Bailey. Candle Lighting was done by Natalie & Valerie, while Dennis shared memories of Sherry. Interment took place in the Theodore Cemetery. Interment Details
