Obituary of Donna Legacy
Donna (nee Allan) Legacy was born on January 2, 1962 at Yorkton, Saskatchewan, a daughter to Vina and Richard Allan. Donna grew up in the Dubuc area and received her education at Grayson School and the Melville Comprehensive School. After her schooling Donna worked at the Dubuc Restaurant and at Yorkton Open Door Society. On June 25, 1983 Donna was united in marriage to Al Legacy. The couple resided on Donna's parent's farm and Donna took care of her parents as well adopted two lovely children, Tyson and Sienna were her pride and joy. She later worked for Rail City in Melville and the Hotel in Grayson and her latest job looking after the Dubuc Hall. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and active in the community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, watching TV, working on puzzles and reading. Donna passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital in Melville at the age of 49 years. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Mabel Fern and Nellie Lambie. Donna leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Al of Dubuc; her children, Tyson of Grayson and Sienna (Cameron) of Grayson; brothers, Rick Allan of Dubuc, Kenny Allan of Dubuc and Douglas "Skip" Allan of BC; sisters Jean Allan of Maple Ridge, BC, Lily (Dennis) Hagen of Elbow, Pearl (Julio) Gaudenzie of Sault Ste. Marie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
