Obituary of Andrew James Agecoutay

AGECOUTAY - Andrew James 'Jimmy' Agecoutay passed away on February 13, 2009 in Victoria, BC . He was 64 years of age. He will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters and other family members: one brother: Ivan Agecoutay (Lynne) of Cross Lake, Manitoba; nine sisters: Rosemary Romanuik of Thompson, Manitoba; Agnes Lowe (Leslie) of Mafeking, Manitoba; Elizabeth Lennon (Howard) of Birch River, Manitoba; Jacqueline St. Paul (Keith) of Yorkton; Bernice Wrightson (Fred) of Nelson House, Manitoba; Beverly McKay (Sydney) of Prince Albert, SK; Verna Wrightson (Ron) of Thompson, MB; Brenda Agecoutay (Jerry) of The Pas, MB; and Charlotte Wrightson (Garth) of Laurier, Manitoba; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and his many other relatives and friends. Andrew was predeceased by his grandparents: Alexander LeClaire and Katherine Campeau; and by his parents: Alfred Agecoutay and Mabel Lillian LeClaire. The funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre, with the wake service being held the night before. Pastor Rick Flamont officiated. Tributes were given by family members and a number of musical selections were played. Honorary bearers were Ivan Agecoutay, Clayton Watson, Chief Denton George, Ron Danialson, Sydney McKay, Cameron Watson, Garret Watson and Fred Hart. The interment took place in the Ochapowace Community Cemetery with Jason, Ivan Jr., Jamie and Bleu Agecoutay, Keith St. Paul and Ryan Linklater serving as the casketbearers.
