Obituary of Clarence Jules Ruttle
Clarence Jules Ruttle passed away at his care home on Tuesday morning February 12, 2008 at the age of 62 years. He was born on October 2, 1945 at Yorkton, SK; a son of Alvin and Martha (nee Simair) Ruttle. Clarence grew up on the family farm at Springside, SK and attended Stoney Coulee School until the family moved to Yorkton in 1963. While here he attended the Lions School for the next year. After this he gave the Abilities Centre a try but decided that wasn't for him; he had more important things to do. He liked to hang out at the: Friendship Centre, A & W, McDonalds and the Ice Cream Cabin (which he had to be at every day at 12:00 on the dot). Clarence loved to collect bottles on his travels which he then cashed in for coffee money. As you all know Clarence was a travelling man. He would walk the entire city every day from one end to another and if you were lucky he would sing you a tune. Clarence lived with his parents until his mother's passing and then resided with his sister Sharon until four years ago when he moved to a community living care home at Yorkton, SK. Clarence was predeceased by his mother on November 21, 1992; his father on April 15, 1998. He leaves to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing his sister Sharon and her friend Eric of Yorkton; his niece Melony (Mike) of Regina as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
