I have fond memories of being a young traveling salesman and Garth taking me under his wing. I recall Thursday night trips to the local casino and a mentoring process designed to tell me that I was not being paid appropriately in 1996. For a 32 year old fellow on the road away from his young family every second week visiting Garth at Nutter's every fourth Thursday was a highlight for me and I truly cherished the time he took to spend with me. A good man indeed.
