Obituary of Vena Robinson

ROBINSON - Vena Robinson, longtime Kelliher resident, passed away on Wednesday, January 5th 2022 at the Ituna Pioneer Health Care Centre. She was 90 years of age. Mom, grandma escaped the burdens of earth and is able to rest easily now. She loved her flowers and her garden as much as she loved her family. Go rest high on that mountain grandma. Your work here is done. Vena married Wilfred Robinson March 16, 1950 and was widowed September 21, 1992. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Raymond (Sylvia) Robinson; Edith (George) Dzialo; Doris (Dale) Free and their respective families. She was predeceased by her parents, foster parents, husband and siblings. Rest in peace. Give grandpa a big hug for me when you see him. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 11th 2022 from St. Margaret Mary Church in Kelliher with Doreen Day officiating. Nancy Wagner gave the eulogy. Soloist, Leonard Varga sang 'How Great Thou Art', and 'Go Rest High on That Mountain'. The interment took place in the Kelliher Memorial Gardens with Nathan and David Dzialo, Scott and Robin Free, Allan Wilson and Garry Lekach serving as the casketbearers.
