Dear Bev and family,
It was with great shock and sadness that we received the news of Grant's passing. When we were last in Yorkton in 2019, we enjoyed the visit was Grant reminiscing about the good times we had at our gathering of YCT friends. Grant was our stalwart in the Prop Shop and backstage starting with our production of CRAZY FOR YOU and every show after that. We have so many fond and happy memories of all those years that we will carry with us forever.

Bev,
I was so shocked and saddened to see that Grant had passed away. It was always a pleasure to have a visit, with you both, at Yorkton Community Theatre functions. Grant always had his wry little smile and was so easy to visit. Lean on each other and treasure all those little things that made Grant so special.

Condolences to Bev and family. Many years ago I worked for the Exhibition Association and was fortunate to meet and work with both Grant and Bev as they were great volunteers. Grant spent countless hours helping with all of the events and was always happy and friendly. May your memories bring you comfort!

All of my memories of Grant make me smile; our families got together for many many card nights...Grant BBQ'd steaks, cut them up and portioned them out onto the six little girls plates, followed by lively games of Nerts when the men would stomp their feet when they won (or lost). Fast forward a few years, and he taught me how to make the best paralyzers ever. Fast forward a few more years, he spun me around the dance floor at my wedding and chuckled the whole time while I tried to keep up. Grant was the guy in jeans at the beach, the one who knew the secret to deep frying a turkey, the one I will always think of when I hear Alan Jackson. A quiet, steady, man always lending a hand whether you asked for it or not. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Bev and girls - sending my love.

My heart is aching;
Grant was Our family Rock, he would stop whatever he was doing to help anyone of us. I had the privilege of knowing Grant when they moved to Canora, he was 8 1/2. Even as a kid he was always ready to help, spending many days on the farm, doing whatever there was to do (and there was a lot!).
His favorite thing was driving the grain truck in the field at harvest time. He could barely see over the wheel and enjoyed the lunches in the field.
Grant was so proud of all ''his girls", beaming when he'd talk about what they where doing. His grandchildren were the icing on the cake.
Grant enjoyed his job, talking with farmers, it was his jam.
It will be very hard for anyone to ever fill Grants shoes.
"Our Rock" so loved by Auntie Allona
