Stan , Bernadette and the entire family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joyce's passing, I first met Joyce back in 1980 when I started working at Zellers and liked her immediately, she was a funny lady and I still can remember her laugh. I know she will be missed by so many but especially her family , her family meant so much to her . Joyce was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known. I worked with her at Zellers, many years ago. She left such a positive impression on me, and anytime her name came up, it just made me smile because I liked her so very much. She was so special, made others feel good, and their days better. I am so sorry for your profound loss. She was remarkable, and I can only imagine how huge of a hole is being left in so many people’s hearts who were fortunate to love her dearly. I am so sad to hear of Joyce's unexpected passing. It brings me back to another loss when her father and my Uncle Nick Fostey died at the age of forty-eight. We were both little girls at the time and lost many precious years growing up together as cousins when her mother remarried and move to Manitoba.
Even though we didn't see each other over the years, I am glad we got a chance to reconnect when the family moved to Yorkton. Looking at her picture, I can see the resemblance to our Baba Maria with those eyes and a little hint of a smile.
Our most heartfelt condolences to Stan, their children & grandchildren and the rest of the family. May her Memory be Eternal. Vichnaya Pam'yat!

I was so sad to hear that Joyce had passed away, she was a lovely woman and I know how much she meant to her family. I’m so grateful to her that she really embraced my sister Rebecka and became like an extra mother to her in Canada. I am so glad I had the chance to meet her for the first time last summer, though it saddens me that I won’t get that opportunity again. She made me feel so welcome and took such great care of me during my visit. My heart goes out to Stan and their children, and all the other family and people in her life. She really was a lovely, caring force and she will be missed.
