It is with deep sadness we learn of Sister Nestor's passing. She was my Godmother, and she did her job well. Over the years, no matter where she was, she kept in touch-birthdays, Christmas, or "just because", and I know she prayed for me and my family. And since the beginning of the pandemic, we would watch and Sister would listen via our YouTube/phone to Devotions to Blessed Vasyl from Winnipeg, every Wednesday evening. Then we'd have a phone visit the rest of the evening. She was always pleasant and interesting to chat with-she called this our "Wednesday date". We miss her deeply already. We extend condolences to the SSMI Community, to Doreen, and to Russell and Anna-Marie, and to Sister's nephews. Truly, a life of service well-lived. Joanne and Wally Wandzura
