Obituary of Frank Bielka

The family of Francis "Frank" Bielka of Regina and formerly Yorkton, sadly announce his passing on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Frank was 95 years of age.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00a.m. from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Roland Legge officiating.

Francis "Frank" Bielka passed at the age 95, on December 28, 2023 in Regina, SK. 

Frank was born on the family farm near Lintlaw, SK on September 3rd, 1928.  He attended the Omar & Glengariff Schools until 1943 when his father became ill and worked on the family farm. In 1964 he sold the farm and took up carpentry and worked in the Kelvington area. He moved to Yorkton, SK in the early 70's where he spent the remainder of his life. 

Frank loved hunting, carpentry, gardening, canning and cooking. Frank was a huge family man. He loved anything to do with family and was always at his best when family was around. Frank made friends where ever he went and his presence will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children: Vincent (Laurie) Bielka of Regina, Francis Bielka of Yorkton, Victoria (Joe) Gerber of Regina, James Bielka of Yorkton and Loretta Bielka of Regina. Also 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and a sister Victoria Gordon of Invermere.  Frank was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Victoria Bielka, brothers Joseph, Mike and Stan, sisters Helen Jankowski, Jean Borchert, Mel Boran, Minnie Diakuw and Anne Engdahl.
