Obituary of Barry Balabuch

The family of Barry Balabuch of Yorkton and formerly of Dauphin, MB, beloved husband of the late Jacki-Lynn Nepinak sadly announce his passing on February 10, 2024. Barry was 72 years of age.

The Wake will commence on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Praire Harvest Community Centre (Bruno's Place).

The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Prairie Harvest Community Centre (Bruno's Place) with Pastor Rick Flamont officiating.

The burial of cremated remains will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Yorkton City Cemetery.

Barry Douglas Balabuch (Bahjee) was born on December 14, 1951 in Dauphin Manitoba to John and Jeanne Balabuch. Growing up in Dauphin with his parents and siblings. He enjoyed playing and hanging out with friends, he enjoyed being in nature, hunting and fishing, while in Dauphin he had his daughter Tara. 

 

Later in life, while living in Dauphin, he met his late wife, Jackie Lynn, and started their family. Where they welcomed her two boys, and soon relocated to BC where they later adopted their youngest daughter. There he enjoyed raising their family by the Ocean, where he would take them fishing and camping. He also loved going to White rock Beach where they would spend most of their days. 

 

 Barry and his family moved to Yorkton in the early 2000s where he spent the remainder of his life, enjoying watching his hockey games and cuddling his fur babies Bear and Asini.

 

Barry was very much a loved in his life by everyone, He was always there and you could always count on him when you needed. He would never judge but he would always be the first to give you tough love, he is going to be missed so much. 

 

 Barry was predeceased by his Mother and Father John and Jeannie Balabuch, his brother David Balabuch, his late Wife Jacki Lynn Nepinak and his grandson Kaiden Pritchard. 

 

 Barry is cherished by his brother Reg, his sister Linda, his daughter Tara (Danny, Lucy Leo) Rena (Matt, Christian, Alicia, Brooklyn, Hannah, Jaxon, Jaden, Lisa (Melvin) Jason (Nadine, Mikiah, Marcus, Makayla, Mason, Merrick, Miracle, and Maliyah) Sean (Tinesha, Kamiyah) Seamus, Kayla (Kyle, Isaac, Max) and Kaitlynn (Blake, Banks and Benz).
