Obituary of Sharon Ottenbreit
Sharon was born on October 28th, 1962 in Melville, Saskatchewan to Elsie and Reinold Gelowitz. She was the eldest of three children. She spent her childhood growing up on the farm west of Grayson.
Sharon went to elementary school in Grayson and high school in Melville. Shortly after high school Sharon found her soulmate Francis Ottenbreit, and on September 3rd, 1983 they were married.
Sharon was blessed with three children, Kelci, Riley, and Cassidy. Sharon worked at the family owned butcher shop for over 30 years. Where she will be remembered for her bright smile and infectious laugh.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, Tuesday morning coffee with friends, watching curling, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, and most importantly spending time with her seven precious grandchildren.
In 2016 Sharon was diagnosed with cancer. She was the bravest fighter and beat the odds over and over again. We like to say she won her battle against cancer because in the last 8 years since her diagnosis, she got to witness all three of her children get married and was blessed with 7 beautiful grandchildren.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her Husband, Francis; daughter, Kelci (Brad) and sons Eli & Theo; son, Riley (Tannis) and daughters Kenzie, Bree & Autumn; and daughter, Cassidy (Jordan) and children Nathan & Natalie.
