Obituary of Louise Meszaros

The family of Louise Meszaros of Regina, beloved wife of the late Steve Meszaros, sadly announces her passing on September 2, 2024. She was 89 years of age.

Louise is predeceased by her siblings Leon Duff, Elsie McManus and James Duff.  Sisters-in-law Bernice Duff and Ruby Konkel, brothers-in-law Arnold Christopherson and Garth Lang, and son-in-law Peter Lamla.

Louise is survived by her siblings, Joyce Derow (Ernie Heller), Irene Christopherson, Majorie Stamm, Betty Lang, Tom (Archella) Duff and their families.  She is survived by her children, Suzanne Lamla and Garner (Beth) Meszaros, and her grandchildren, Cadence Meszaros and Chazz Meszaros.

Louise will be forever loved and dearly missed by all her family and friends.

The Funeral Service was held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Center with Rev. Deborah Smith of Westview United Church officiating. The eulogy was delivered by grandchildren Cadence & Chazz Meszaros. Accompanist Amanda Buhler led the congregation in the hymns. The interment followed in the Garden of St. John, Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Chazz Meszaros, Cadence Meszaros, Jason Lang, Albert Duff, Darran Stam and Clifton Christopherson serving as casket bearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association as gifts of remembrance.
