Obituary of Lorraine Toth

The family of Lorraine Toth of Melville, beloved wife of Stanley Toth sadly announce her passing on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Lorraine was 76 years of age.

Prayers will be held on Monday, November 11 at 7:00p.m. from St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 11:00a.m. from St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church.

Memorials in memory of Lorraine Toth may be made to the Allan Blair Patient Lodge (200-4545 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK, S4W 0G3) or St. Peter's Hospital ( Box 1810 Melville, SK, S0A 2P0) as gifts of remembrance.

 

Lorraine Marie Toth was born on December 18, 1947 at Antler, Saskatchewan, a daughter to George and Marguerite (nee Moreau) Monin. Lorraine received her education in Bellegarde, Saskatchewan.

On April 29, 1967 Lorraine was united in marriage to Stan Toth in Esterhazy. The couple resided in Churchbridge, Esterhazy, then moved to a farm in the Dubuc district until 2019 and moved into Melville.

Lorraine worked as a cook catering for the Event Center, Deer Park Golf, Course and City of Yorkton Curling Club. She also was a manager of the Dubuc Senior Housing.

Lorraine was a member of the Dubuc Recreation Community and the Melville Seniors Club. She was an active member of St. Henry’s Church, an avid angler, enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking for family and friends. Her most enjoyment was spending time with family, which meant everything to her. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were especially important. The complete family will miss her cabbage rolls.    

Lorraine entered her eternal rest with family at her side on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital at the age of 76 years.

Predeceased by her parents, George and Marguerite; brother Marcel and his wife Bev; sister Leona Skow and her husband Ray Skow; brother-in-law Dennis Thomas; in-laws Steve and Irene Toth. Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Stan; daughter  Karen (Jeff) Waddell, children Carley, Colton (Tecia); daughter Kim (Roger) Ives children Avery (Kale); son Brian Toth (Tina) Dumont, their son Spencer; daughter Andrea Toth (Brad) Rix, children Braedon, Dylan, and Cassidy; son Aaron Toth (Meagan) Kramer – Toth; great grandchildren Rusty, Hudson and Olivia; brother Eugene (Florence) Monin; sister Rose Thomas.
