Obituary of Robbie Duff
The family of Robert "Robbie" Duff of Yorkton, beloved son of Bob and Barb Duff, sadly announce his sudden passing on December 19, 2024.
A private family funeral service will take place.
Memorial donations may be made to Mental Health and Addictions Services (c/o The Health Foundation 41 Betts Ave., Yorkton, SK, S3N 1M1), Heart & Stroke Foundation (1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5), or to Paws & Claws Animal Rescue (Box 1047, Yorkton, SK S3N 2X3) as gifts of remembrance.
Robbie was born and raised in Yorkton, Sask. He was the younger of two children born to Barb and Bob Duff. Robbie attended Yorkdale Central School and the Yorkton Regional High School. When he finished school, he worked construction jobs, at Heartland Livestock and Jay’s moving company.
Robbie had many friends and extended family he loved to spend time with in his youth. His greatest love though, was his love for animals. He had many pets over the years from snakes and reptiles to cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs to sheep. Robbie had a special way and bond with animals. His greatest love was his special dog and furever friend, Ozzy. He spent all his time with her, taking her everywhere with him. They had many years and special times walking fields and bush and at the lake fishing, swimming and enjoying the campfire. When Ozzy passed away in 2023, Robbie’s grief was deep and he found it difficult to be without her. He spent his adult life with his immediate family and they are grateful for everyday with him.
Robbie’s passing was unexpected and sudden but he will always be remembered for his kindness, his lovely giggle, his sense of humor and his calm laid back old soul.
Robbie leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Bob and Barb, his brother Ryan, his grandmother Grace Predy, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and two very special friends Kyle Rogg and John Bassman who were so accepting and kind during some troubled years.
