Obituary of Pearl Baronasky
Pearl Baronasky was born on December 19, 1926 to Wasyl and Anna (Spelay) Byblow in the township of Sheho, Sk. Pearl was the seventh of eleven children. Pearl was the last surviving member of all of her siblings.
In 1946, Pearl married Mike Baronasky, and together they farmed for 32 years in the
Parkerview, Sk area, raising four children: Edward, Elaine, Dennis and Sylvia.
They retired to Yorkton, Sk in 1983. Pearl moved to St Albert in 2017, to be closer to her children. Pearl leaves to mourn, daughters Elaine Baronasky and Sylvia Ketler; grandchildren: Nadine (Matt) Duiker, Denise (Juan) Villalobos, Katherine Baronasky, Shane Baronasky, Shauna Baronasky, Camille (Tik) Baytalan-Tycholaz, Michael (Melissa) Baytalan; great grandchildren: Kaicee, Ozzy, Jaz, Madison, Brooke, Sara and Miguel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pearl is predeceased by her husband Mike; sons Edward & Dennis; and grandson Clayton.
Pearl was devoted to her family. She worked hard alongside dad, instilling a work ethic for us to follow. She held steadfast for what she believed in. Like her mother, Pearl loved to garden, nurturing vegetables, fruit trees, but her favorite was flowers.
The farm was a favorite and welcome place to visit, hosting nieces, nephews and leaving the grandchildren with fond memories. Pearl loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and all other members of her family and friends. We will always remember her for her kindness, generosity, humbleness and strength. A true inspiration for all of us.
