Rachelle Miller posted a condolence

Aunty Kay, thank you for all the lasting memories you are part of in our lives. You always treated us 4 Miller kids as your own and are such a memorable part of our family. I am forever thankful for your forever open and welcoming door and endless supply of treats and snacks for whenever any of us kids ventured over to ring your doorbell. I smile to myself now, thinking of how you would alway patiently wait whilst we would ring that doorbell numerous times to hear the lovely chimes that would play before welcoming us inside for treats and a visit. Your table was always open and you always had something fancy to share from one of your trips. Despite all the delicacies and chocolates, we all still tried to eat those fake grapes whenever we saw them. Thank you for always entertaining us and letting us make ourselves at home in your basement full of exciting things to discover. I will always remember your smile and your laughter as we would share stories. As I grew older and moved away, part of my favorite part of coming home was to venture over to your house for an afternoon visit. Though I am saddened that you are no longer with us, I am happy to know that you are now with Uncle Bill and Uncle Darryl. I will miss you. Love you Aunty Kay and thank you for being part of my life and thank you for the love you gave us.

Aunty Kay, thank you for treating us like your kids. Thank you for your kind heart every time we came to visit and mess up the basement, play the juke box and making sure you always had at least one Pepsi for me when I'd be over. Thank for sharing all the best chocolates you'd bring back from trips, you always did have the best chocolates best chocolates. Thank you for making us 4 Miller kids feel welcome and making us feel as family just as we thought of you as family. I will miss you. Sorry for always trying to eat the fake grapes you had for years on the kitchen table But, thank you for eventually having real grapes for me when I'd come for a visit. Thank you for watching me play hockey in town when you could come watch, it meant a lot growing up knowing you enjoyed coming to see us play. You are now with Uncle Bill, and Uncle Darryl, give them a hug for me and let them know we miss them too. Thank you for the memories Aunty Kay. But even more, thank you for loving us.

Linda Miller posted a condolence

The family of Glenn and Linda Miller convey their heartfelt sympathy to the family of Kay Leshko. Kay has been a part of our family for the past 44 years as part of the Miller/Leshko pharmacy team. Our kids knew her as Aunty Kay and was always keen to hear of their achievements and were quite familiar with Aunty Kay's cooking. Kay got to know the whole Miller family as the Leshko's would be invited to join them at Glenn and Linda's Christmas gatherings. And now Kay is back together with her beloved Bill and Darryl. May she Rest In Peace.
