I was saddened to hear of Tom's recent illness and passing. Most of my memories of Tom are when I was as a young man. Whether it was curling, Knights of Columbus, or just seeing him around Yorkton, he always delivered good cheer, laughter and usually a joke. Though I was just a young guy, he still made time for me and took great interest in what I was doing. I'm sure that was a typical experience. Tom was a great friend and support to my parents, Gene and Kay, over many years. I know some of Tom's good cheer was lessened when he lost Rose, so I hope knowing Tom and Rose are together again provides some comfort to their children and grand children. Cheryl and I pass our greatest sympathies to Terry, Darrell and Lori and your families at this difficult time.

Darrell, Terry and Lori, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Your father was a fantastic man. I remember how he would always say hi with a smile and take time to chat even though it seems he was always busy doing something. I can still picture that characteristic fast gait that he moved about his day and how he was always willing to help others. He will be missed. All the best as you celebrate the life of a great man.

We extend our sympathy to all of Tom's family. We knew him to be a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, as well as a faithful member of St. Gerard's parish and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. We will miss his bright smile, the twinkle he always had in his eye, and his heartfelt hugs . We will miss him as a friend. Debbie & Keith Hayward

To Tom's family So very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He and Rose were dear friends to our parents who have both passed on as well. I'll always remember his great sense of humor and the time he always had to visit. May memories be a comfort to you as you say farewell to a great man.
