Obituary of Einar Sigurdur

Einar Sigurdur was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 10,1976. He was the only son born to Einar Sigurdur and Mildred Buck. He has three older sisters Roseanna, Evelyn and Cindy. Einar grew up in Edmonton where he lived with his mom, dad and sister Roseanna. Einar had two children a daughter Jasmine, and a son Einar. In the late nineties he moved to Yorkton where his mom and sister Roseanna lived. He got a job working along side his mom at the Painted Hand Casino as a Custodian and was later promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. After leaving the casino, Einar got a job in construction with Logan Stevens for a short time. He then started working at Mano's Restaurant with his sister Roseanna. While working at Mano's he met his Best Friend Tracy McLeod. He enjoyed watching movies and relaxing with her in the evenings. He also loved to bar-b-que and would experiment with all sorts of recipes on the barb-b-que when he had the opportunity to do so. Einar was a very spiritual man with a big heart, he would always have a helping hand and a listening ear for anyone who came to him. Einar touched a lot of people's lives and will be forever loved and missed. He leaves behind with memories of him, his Son Einar, his Best Friend Tracy, Sisters Roseanna (Terry), Evelyn (Bill) and Cindy. His Nieces Felicia (Cody), Rickie Lee (Marc), Kaitlyn, and Codie Ann (Mark), and nephews Darrian and Joshua (Cori) as well as many Great nieces, Nephews and Family and Friends. Einar will be laid to rest with His Mom Mildred, Dad Einar, and Daughter Jasmine. He will be forever missed, and remembered. The Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Yorkton Friendship Centre with Pastor Kevin Sawatsky officiating. The interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Terry Musqua, Darrian Sigurdur, Cody McLeod, Charles McLeod, Kevin Kraus and Dustin Shingoose serving as the casket bearers. Service Details.
