Obituary of Carol Kadischuk

KADISCHUK - On August 13th 2021, Carol Eunice Kadischuk passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the ICU at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. Carol was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at an early age and slipped away from complications of this disease. She was a resident of Wascana Rehabilitation Center in Regina, SK, for many years due to her loss of mobility. Carol was 69 years-old soon to turn 70 and a bright light to all who knew her. She was born on Aug 22, 1951 in Preeceville, SK. She was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Kalenchuk) Kadischuk. She attended school and graduated from Sturgis Composite High School in 1969. She then went on to complete her Registered Nursing Degree from Regina Grey Nuns' Hospital School of Nursing. She spent her career working as a Registered Nurse at the Pasqua Hospital, the Regina Medical Clinic and other private physician practices. Carol enjoyed many years of nursing, supporting her patients and physicians in their practice. Carol had a love of travel. Her travels took her across Canada and the US. Her travels always involved her many visits to her aunts, uncles and cousins. Carol's true love was the love she had for her family. She was the most special Auntie, supporting and providing comfort to everyone who knew her. Her kind heart made everyone who spoke to her feel loved, cherished, and accepted. She would always offer a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. Most importantly, Carol was always there for her sister, nieces and nephew. You always knew you could go to Auntie for her love and a little spoiling if you needed it. Carol was preceded by her father and mother, Henry and Mary Kadischuk. She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister Delia (Bernie) Matsalla of Regina. Her niece Carrie (Dwayne) Jendrasheske, Mathew, Noah and Tess; her niece Renee (Patrick) Belitski, Andrew and Carter; her nephew Darcy (Joline) Matsalla, Addison, Kennedy, Victoria and Jake. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Center with Doreen Day, Certified Celebrant officiating. Words of remembrance were given by great niece, Tess Jendrasheske. Scripture readings were done by great nieces, Kennedy and Addison Matsalla. Interment followed in the family plot in the Garden of St. John at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Dwayne Mathew and Noah Jendrasheske, Patrick, Andrew and Carter Belitski serving as the casketbearers.
