Our deepest condolences to the Washenfelder family. I enjoyed cleaning Keith and Brigette's driveway after a winter snow storm. She was always willing to give me a $20.00 bill and I would just tell her, that is what neighbours do, we look after one another. Alex Brischuk, Mike Giroux and myself would always make sure the Washenfelder driveway was clean. We will miss her. Cliff and Donna Trombley

Brigitte and I came to be known to each other when we were twelve years old and in Grade seven at St. Goretti's Elementary. We immediately bonded and became fast and loyal friends for sixty four years. My fondest teen memories are many: We had numerous sleepovers Celebrated our sixteenth birthdays with a mutual friend Cruised Saskatoon's Eighth Street in her Dad's black convertible with red seats - we thought we were so hip Went on many dates together Attended many dances at the German Concordia Club together Graduated High School together Laughed ‘til we cried, the first time we saw ‘Reveen' the hypnotist Sharing the delicious German cold cut sandwiches at her home Calling her Mom, my Mom Later: Her being my Bridesmaid on my wedding day 56 years ago Her helping celebrate my husband Ed's and my 50th Anniversary Her joining in our house parties Sharing in our children's lives and achievements The couple trips to Vegas with our spouses - such great times we shared I know l'm going to miss our yearly phone call birthday acknowledgments and our many phone chats So thank you Brigitte, for being my Best Friend ever. You will always remain a cherished memory in my heart forever. I bid a fond farewell to a loving, caring, classy lady, who always laughed and had an optimistic outlook on life. My most sincere condolences to you Keith, to your children Kim, Brooks, and Christopher and their spouses, and to the Grandchildren. Also, to Brigitte's sister Judy and husband Heinz, and especially to ‘Mom'. We all loved her so ….. God Speed …. Dear friend: Jean Kloeble

My heartfelt condolences to Keith and all the family in the loss of Brigitte. I remember her well when I used to stop over and visit Keith and watch ball or hockey on TV. She was a great lady with a big heart.
