Deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother and father. They are often on my mind. Every May 5th a birthday Jim and Mom shared, there would be an email from your mother. Even when my mother could no longer read due to macular degeneration, your mother would send emails to me to share. There was always a smile on my mother's face as I read the messages. Mom and Irene were such good friends and of course they met their husbands who were friends and both boarded at the Y. When my mother, Margaret Gratto, passed away three years ago, I had a lengthy email from your mom. She shared how much fun they had had when they were young and single, working at the Cornell Belcher and loving to dance. I remember as a child the bridge nights at our home in Calgary.
