Obituary of Freda Lydia Angus

Freda Lydia Angus, 94 of Yorkton, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Melody Manor, Yorkton & District Nursing Home. Freda was born August 28, 1926 in Saltcoats Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Lydia Laube, sister to Jean Weinmaster and Ervin Laube and wife of Donald Angus. Freda was a rather adventurous person who left the farm in Saltcoats for the bright lights, big city of Toronto where she held several jobs until she settled in as a secretary with the Teamsters Union for 25 years, while in Toronto she met Donald Angus and they married. Sadly, Donald passed away in his 50's and Freda moved back to the farm and spent many happy years with her mother, sister and brother now all passed. She had many friends and was well loved. She is survived by her son, Gary Angus and wife, Nancy Angus of Ajax, Ontario. Two grandchildren, Shannon and Carley and three great grandchildren, Jack, Nash and Lily.
